Meet Jon & Drew
The Operators
Execute The Hunt is a veteran-owned and operated logistics company founded by Jon Schleh and Drew Pieper.
Jon Schleh
Founder & Logistical Operations Lead
Jon brings two decades of Midwest whitetail experience and 7 years of focused Western backcountry hunting elk, mule deer, and caribou (adding bear soon). Drawing on his background as a Combat Engineer First Sergeant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and his civilian career developing industry best practices as a Director of Continuous Improvement, Jon built Execute The Hunt to eliminate the inefficiencies and physical bottlenecks of public land hunting. We apply strict military decision making processes and root cause analysis to backcountry terrain.
Drew Pieper
Co-Founder & Livestock Operations Lead
Drew brings 20 years of Midwest whitetail and upland bird hunting experience to the operation, anchored by 6 years of boots-on-the-ground in the steep, rugged backcountry of Idaho. His logistical backbone was forged during 12 years of service as a Combat Engineer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. In the civilian sector, Drew owns and operates a highly successful construction company. He brings that exact same project management, structural discipline, and raw physical grit to the mountain. Whether he is maintaining a pack string of goats, or route-planning extraction points, Drew ensures the physical execution of the hunt is as bulletproof as the strategy.
